Single Use Plastics

Something that’s often forgotten when using single use products is how long they will be around for.

For plastics it can take up to 1000 years to decompose and it the process breaks down to Microplastics that end up in our food systems. Plastics aren’t the only issue too, cans, diapers, glass, and fabric also pollution our oceans hundreds of years.

Recycling isn’t enough now a days, we have change our mindsets forwards waste. Our socials norms can’t be centered around buying more and more, but buying only what we need and buying sustainably when we need too. Along with this, the use of single use plastics need to be eliminated.

It’s time to stop using convince as an excuse, take this matter, and change our habits. We don’t have to be perfect, but we have to try
