Recycling Numbers - What do they mean?

A reminder to look at what type of plastic your recyclables are made of before you toss them in the bin. Contra Costa County accepts 1-7 plastics. If you do not live in Contra Costa County make sure to look on the lid of your recycling bin or your county’s recycling website to see what plastics they accept.
